 A weekly dose of equine comedy, fun, and a bit of learning, plus we'll have something for the kids in each issue. Introductory subscription for 2025 is $8/month or $80/year (2 free months- that's 8 free issues!) (newsletter is included with membership to The Broody Mare Academy)

The Broody Mare Academy is a membership-based learning space for those who want to understand the subtle physical and behavioral signs of foaling with more clarity and confidence.  The Academy is currently in development and is open to accept the initial group of members.   • Gestational Journal/Calendar- an adaptable journal style calendar that maps out the specific milestones of your mare's pregnancy so that you can stay up to date on when she's due for exams, vaccines, diet changes, etc. This will also become your mare's foaling history file that you can use to assist in that mare's future pregnancies, since mares often follow similar patterns. The idea of this journal was actually what inspired The Broody Mare brand

Personal Coaching

For those that would like more personal and in depth help during the final weeks of their mare's pregnancy we offer 3 levels of availability:


*1 Day- complete overview "Focus Session" and consult on your mare. Ask as many questions as you want, send pictures, etc, whatever you want to talk about to prepare for your mare's foaling day- $50


*1 week-"Observation Coaching" (includes complete overview and consult on your mare and unlimited Q&A, everything that is included in the 1 Day option, just extended access)- $250


*24/7 availability for "Prep and Foaling Coaching" during final 4-6 weeks of your mare's pregnancy (including 24/7 personal access for live consult during the birth). Spots for this coaching will be limited and will include an application process - $500


***If you choose the 1 Day "Focus Session" or 1 Week "Observation Coaching" session and later want to upgrade to another session at a higher consult level, whatever you already paid will be deducted from the new session- for example, if you chose a 1 Day consult and then decided to continue with a 1 Week session- the fee would be reduced to $200. If you had done three 1 Day sessions, then chose to do a 1 Week- the fee would be $100 ($150 deduction of the fee as already paid)
